On December 26th (day after Christmas) she asked me, "How many more days until Christmas?"
This morning I was getting breakfast ready. I had put something in the microwave to warm up. I asked Maddie if she would say the prayer. As she was saying the prayer, the microwave started beeping. Soon after, Maddie finished the prayer. She exclaimed, "Mom, I finished the prayer when the beep burped!"
She is already planning her birthday party, which is almost two months away. She is making the invitations and decorating the house. The other night she was telling me who she wanted to invite. She had listed off some friends and family, and then she said, "Oh, and Grandpa, because I kind of like him." (I kind of like him too!)
